History Channel’s “American Pickers” May Visit New Mexico This Month

Although Mike and Frank were supposed to visit Las Cruces last month, their trip was postponed for sometime this month. A specific date in April still hasn’t been set, according to the City of Las Cruces web site. Details on the exact date of their arrival will be presented here as they become available.

Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz travel the entire U.S. in search of antiques and collectibles. Some examples include bikes, cars and memorabilia. The duo usually looks for the items at people’s homes, typically in their garages, basements and farms. Once they purchase the items, their goal is to share and sell the items with the public and avid collectors.

Gary Camarano, City of Las Cruces Economic Development Coordinator said in a news release, the show is very interested in visiting Las Cruces. However, it depends on what hidden treasures there are and the willingness of residents to open up and share and sell their items on the show.

If you think you have any antiques or valuables you would like to sell, you can email your name, city and state and a description with photos to: americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 1-855-OLD-Rust. If there’s no answer, leave a message.

New episodes air on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. Mountain Standard Time on the History Channel. Older episodes air throughout the week.
