My purpose of blogging is to continue writing while having fun! I enjoy writing about El Paso, Texas and everything that has to do with it… some good stuff and some not so good stuff (mostly good though!). I’ve enjoyed writing since I was 6 years old. I won a writing contest in first grade and I’ve been writing since! I’ve written in journals & diaries, short stories, poetry, etc. My favorite types of writing are feature and investigative reporting. I have a degree in Journalism from New Mexico State. I wrote for various magazines and newspapers while I was in college and after I graduated. I took a break from writing but I’m now back at it! I intend to keep writing in this blog, along with taking on freelance projects that come my way. Thank you!
