According to Complete Health and Happiness, lavender is an herb that calms the senses. Lavender oil is used for the following:
As an anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, antidepressant, antiseptic, detoxifier, sedative and so much more. Lavender can also be used to ease labor pains, hangovers and sinus congestion. Here is a recipe for lavender lemonade with Lavender Essential Oil
1 cup raw honey
12 cups pure water
1 drop lavender essential oil
6 lemons peeled and juiced
Lavender sprigs for garnish
Mix all ingredients together and chill. Add more water or raw honey if needed.
