“Sex and the City”

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you’re enjoying your weekend! I’m relaxing and watching one of my all-time favorite shows this afternoon. “Sex and the City” is a classic! I own all of the DVDs, movies and book. I enjoy the shows more than the book. I think I would consider wearing some of their shoes and outfits these days. A lot of it is out of style in 2015 but not everything is. I always enjoyed hearing about Carrie’s weekly columns on sex and relationships.

I sometimes wonder why I wore certain trendy clothes and liked certain bands or TV shows when I was younger. I don’t think this of “Sex and the City”…not yet anyway. I could watch the same episodes over and over again and not get tired of them. I sometimes feel as if I’m watching an episode for the first time.

Some of my favorite episodes are: When Carrie leaves the Russian for Big in Paris, When Miranda and Steve get back together and eventually marry and when the ladies go to Atlantic City and the Playboy Mansion for a vacation. I don’t particularly like Big because he was a jerk at times. He was a player but eventually changes. OK OK I’ll admit it, he’s kind of handsome and charming.
I still have to run some errands today. I’ll be spending a little bit more time watching the show. The show allows me to reminisce about what I was doing with my life in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone! I’m sure I’ll blog about “Straight Outta Compton” later on tonight, tomorrow or during the week. I saw the movie yesterday and if I had to use one word it would be…wow!

  1. Hi Linda! Thank you for your comment and for following my blog! 🙂 They’re my favorite characters! The shows never get old! I like how they’re so open about some very taboo subjects.

  2. Hi! Coincidentally, my sister and I were talking about the characters just a few days ago. She said if she had to choose the woman who reminded her the most of herself, it would be Charlotte. And she said I would be Carrie :-). I liked that! I have the show on DVD too, and I still enjoy watching it.
