Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you’re all doing well! As for me, I’m still lying in bed. My stomach is a little upset. The food we ate last night upset it. Sigh, this too shall pass ;). Note to self: Quit eating food so late!
A fellow blogger, The-V pub, did a great post about his bucket list today. It includes traveling, meeting Paul McCartney, career goals, etc. I decided to do a list of 10 things I want to do before I die. What’s on your list?
10. Traveling of course! I would love to travel to the following places in the U.S. New York City, New Orleans, Niagara Falls (well both the U.S. and Canadian part), Mount Rushmore,Washington D.C., Seattle, Chicago, Memphis.
9. Write a book. This has been a lifelong dream and goal. I hope I can start or finish by the time I’m 40. Knowing me, I’ll start at 40 ;).
8. Take a boat cruise to Alaska and a beautiful island. I’ve never been on a cruise.
7. Get married. I hope I’ll be married by the time I’m 35. The dating game is already old for me.
6. Have one more child by age 35. I have one son who will be 10 this year. I hope to have another healthy baby.
5. More traveling! Outside of the U.S. I would love to visit the following countries in any order: Mexico (especially Mexico City, Michoacan, Cancun, Acapulco), Germany, Greece, Amsterdam. I’m sure there are more countries I’d like to see but these are some of them. Oh yeah and Canada as well!
4. Find a career in writing, such as writing for a publication. Writing for Rolling Stone and/or the New York Times would be awesome, even if it’s freelance work.
3. Retiring from work in my 50s. I would love to retire in Arizona or even Italy! So I guess that means more traveling?
2. Attend a Dallas Cowboys football game with my son and boyfriend… hopefully this will happen this year!
The number one thing for me is continue staying healthy, along with maintaining and cherishing relationships with all of my loved ones. What’s life without good health and the people you love? I forgot to add, raising my son to be a good person with good values. Have a great weekend, everyone! Until next time!

I think you can watch episodes on Amazon if you ever decide to check it out 😎

Lol. I haven’t seen Mr. Robot. I watch stuff on Netflix a lot.

Yeah it’s quite a polarizing show- love or hate it- I just flat out got addicted to it and get pissed every year they end on this ominous note of wtf just happened?!?! Lol!
Now I am addicted to Mr Robot which sadly just aired the season finale. TV addict here 🙈

Lol. We went to Balmorhea State Park sometime back. It’s very close to Van Horn. Breaking Bad was a great show! I couldn’t get into The Walking Dead.

I never got to venture to that part of TX where he’s from-I picture a cowboy ranch, dirt, dust, cactus, Longhorns and tumbleweeds lol!!
Every time I think of Albuquerque I think of Walter White and breaking bad lol- one of my fave shows of all time. Up there with walking dead.

Lol. I don’t know anyone from Van Horn. I used to live in Albuquerque. I like visiting but I came back.

His BF is from Van Horn- grew up on a ranch- his mom is Hispanic and his Dad is German. Really sweet guy- last we knew he was single. He’s 31. My email is lindenforestbrook@yahoo.com. I could email you his name lol. My hubs lost touch with him after our wedding- he lived in Albuquerque for a while.

How nice! I’ve always wanted to see U2! I’m super excited to visit the Cowboys stadium. Lol maybe I know your husband’s best friend. It really is a small world. Hatch chili is the best! I like the Spurs for basketball but Dallas is second! I don’t really care for Houston teams too much. I don’t blame you for missing Texas, I’d miss it too, if and when I leave.

It’s too expensive for us right now (we have two little ones) so finding child care alone while we go to the game would bankrupt us lol. We went to a U2 concert when the stadium first opened and concerts suck there because acoustics there are awful because it’s so big!
We moved to SC 2 years ago and I miss all things Texas. I get excited when I see a Texas license plate or a Cowboys sticker lol. It took us almost a year to find a good Tex-Mex place here- it’s just not the same. Let’s not forget the Hatch Chili Festival I now miss every August. I’m glad I found your blog- I enjoy seeing what’s going on in the Lone Star state ❤️😎 my hubs best friend is from El Paso- you might even know him- for the sake anonymity I would mention his name but I am trying to not reveal my real identity on my blog as I discuss frequently controversial topics- some trolls hit up my blog now and again to let me know how much they hate me lol. so needless to say my cloak of being anonymous gives me pseudo- protection 😉😄a couple of my blog friends know me in real life- but they’re anonymous on their blog too lol.
Oh we also love the Mavericks. We used to ride the DART all the time to the games- some of the happiest memories I have are Mavs game nights ❤️ My hubs and I have met Darren Williams and his family. Glad he joined the Mavs- they should be good this year- with Dirk and Darren hopefully we will dominate 😎
Oh and don’t get me started on the Rangers- love me some Rangers games.
Can you tell I’m sorta home sick? Lol

Lol. Dallas has always been my team and always will be! I’m glad you have a list too. I’m sure Hannah would appreciate the good things you wanted to do for her.

No Dallas!!!!! I have to revise my last. A lot of the things were focussed on doing good things for Hannah. The ones that weren’t will stay, but I have to do more. Crossed one off I never officially added this week though, so it’s a start.

Not really “long”. Same as yesterday. I just have a tendency to live from day-to-day. All good!

We were there so often that in the end we told our visitors to go by themselves…lol! But whenever I come back to my former home my first trip leads to the falls 🙂

Oh, and I love the image! I took a picture myself of the Falls with exactly that illumination. I had to look twice. I lived close by for over a year. Wonderful memories.
