Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you’re having a great day so far! Today I have to wash and buy groceries. I plan on watching the Dallas Cowboys take on the New York Giants at 6:30 p.m. my time. I’m pretty sure we’ll barbecue some steaks or hamburgers.
I didn’t write yesterday. We stayed home, relaxed and watched TV. I was supposed to go to a funeral and birthday party but I didn’t go. I feel kind of bad for not doing so. I mostly sat on the couch and watched Pawn Stars all day. Andre goes to nursing school so I helped him study for a little while. I also worked on the garden before it got hot in the morning. I pulled some weeds out and planted some marigolds my mom gave for my birthday. I enjoy working in the garden a lot, especially before it gets hot. I get a tiny bit of exercise in. It also allows me to think about life. I enjoy hearing the birds and watching the sunrise.
For dinner, we ate wings from Buffalo Wild Wings and drank Boone’s Farm. Boone’s takes me back to my high school and college days. The stuff is about $3.50 a bottle. The inexpensive, colorful sodalike drink still tastes good after all of these years. The alcohol of choice in my high school days was either Boone’s, Zima with a Jolly Rancher or Bud Light. I don’t remember when they stopped making Zima but it’s been at least 10 years now? I remember it tasted awful like a bottle of rubbing alcohol without the Jolly Rancher. We were weird kids who grew up to be weird adults! I don’t know maybe I’m just speaking for myself 😉 I’m not promoting teen drinking here because it shouldn’t be OK. I’m writing about my own experiences. While we’re on the subject of alcohol, I read a Target in Chicago plans to offer a full bar to customers this year. If it’s successful, it may be offered at other locations. So, while you’re shopping you can have a glass of wine, beer, etc. Any thoughts on this?
Well guys, I’m going to start washing now. Enjoy your Sunday before that other word that starts with an M rolls around. Until next time!
