El Paso 411, a local news and entertainment web site, featured a video of Drake at  the Austin City Limits music festival on their web site yesterday.

“I’m showing love to the whole Texas tonight,” Drake said. “You can be from Dallas, you can be from Houston, you can be from El Paso.” Notice he doesn’t mention San Antonio? The video was filmed by El Pasoan Raymon Vasquez on Saturday. Drake was about to perform “Hold on we’re going Home.”

Drake isn’t coming to El Paso anytime soon. Rumors of an El Paso concert quickly spread on social media back in February. Check out my post here Archived post. According to El Paso 411, the show was canceled after local promoters accidentally released the flyer, breaching the contract between Drake and the local promoter.
