Hi everyone! I hope your Saturday is going well! I’ve been lazy and in bed for most of the day. My son is visiting my grandparents and Andre is visiting his aunt. The cloudy and windy weather makes me want to continue staying in bed. I might actually do that. We sometimes need a day or two to relax and veg out. I’ll eventually get up to clean and wash for a little while. For some odd reason, I feel like eating breakfast food from McDonalds or wings. Oh decisions decisions!
I know it’s not Friday anymore but I didn’t have a good day at work yesterday. I’m usually excited for Friday to come around but yesterday was an exception.
I’m happy I’m able to write and connect with writers here.
I watched the movie, “Almost Famous” this afternoon. I remember watching it when it first came out in 2000. I didn’t like it 15 years ago. I’m glad I decided to watch it again because it’s pretty good. William Miller, a high school boy, goes on tour with an up and coming band, Stillwater. William tours with the band in order to write a story for Rolling Stone Magazine. The musicians are always partying with groupies and getting high. William is a pretty good kid because he doesn’t do too much partying or drugs. However, he falls in love with Penny Lane, a drug addicted groupie. Penny is in love Russell, a member of Stillwater. William saves her life when she overdoses on quaaludes. His overbearing mother constantly calls and warns him not to take any drugs. I don’t blame her for checking up on him constantly because he’s only 15! He faked his age in order to get the gig and hang out with the rock band. Thank you everyone for reading and following along! Until next time!
