Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you’re having a good one so far! Today is my son Jacob’s 10th birthday! We plan on spending time with him at my grandma’s house. She’s preparing gorditas (small, fat Mexican cakes with dough, ground beef, cheese, lettuce and tomato). My mom’s a baker so she’s making him a chocolate cake. I might take him to see Christmas lights tonight. We’ll be watching the Cowboys game this afternoon for sure! We plan on celebrating his birthday with more relatives and a couple of his friends at a pizzeria on December 27. I can’t believe he’s 10 already! I seriously don’t know where all of the time has gone! I remember taking him home from the hospital like it was yesterday! I still remember his first haircut, his first day of school, our trip to Disney World last year and the list goes on!
Jacob is a great kid (well most of the time anyway lol). He makes me a proud mom. He does very well in school. He’s struggled with reading but he continues to improve on it all the time. I enjoy him and his company so much. He’s definitely a mama’s boy. Even though I’m hard on him sometimes, I love him to the moon and back! He’s always been great company and fun to talk to. He’s also a Dallas Cowboys fan like me! Like most kids, he doesn’t sugar coat anything. Happy 10th birthday son! Here’s to many more birthdays!
