According to the National Weather Service, there is a 70 percent chance of snow in El Paso’s forecast tonight and tomorrow! El Paso is expected to get between three and six inches of snow today. It may not seem like a lot to readers in colder cities. However, that’s quite a bit of snow and cold weather for me! Burr! This desert rat doesn’t like this one bit! I had to reschedule my son’s birthday party from tomorrow until next Saturday. Regardless of the weather, The Sun Bowl is happening right now between Washington State University and the University of Miami.

I am not looking forward to whatever is coming this way but Mother Nature doesn’t appreciate being told how to do her job so We’ll just sit back and see what she brings. Have a great New Year!

It usually does. My snowman melted 😦 There’s still some in the backyard though.

That’s more than we get, it must melt quickly?

Not too much compared to other places. I think we got some last year, maybe a few inches. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a foot this time. That’s a lot for here.

Lol. They still think the same of El Paso. We have both but we’re pretty modern. Houston is SO humid! I couldn’t take it. My hair got all crazy and frizzy.

Brrr! Glad I am at the Houston end. 🙂 It cracks me up when people come to Houston expecting tumbleweed and cowboys. It’s a sub-tropical swampy forested city that’s really not very pretty – but we love it!

It’s snowing a lot now. We’re supposed to go to a dinner. Idk if we’re going now. That’s good it’s drying out in Tennessee.

When in Houston many years ago we had some snow. They it was so unusual:)

Here in Chattanooga, TN we are drying out a bit after a nearly 24 hour rain that gave us well over two inches of rain. It’s been a interesting Christmas.

I’ve caught a little of the bowl game today. Seeing snow there was odd. My alma mater was a potential candidate to play in that game, but ended up in the Music City Bowl.
