New Years Eve/Day BLOG Party

newyearseve.jpg

Hi everyone! Happy 2016! I hope your day is going well so far! Welcome to Life of an El Paso Woman! Feel free to make yourself at home! Feel free to reblog this post on your blog and/or on social media!

Please share some of your favorite blog posts in the comments section. Also, introduce yourself if you’d like. Tell us what your blog is about. If you want let us know if you have any New Years Resolutions/goals. What do you plan on doing in your blog for 2016? It’s better if you include one link at a time in the comments because…we have real life giveaways! The more times you enter a separate link, the more chances you will be entered to win! I’ll announce the winners in a separate post. Most of all, have fun and meet lots of bloggers here! Help yourself to some virtual snacks, champagne, party favors and grapes! It’s a family tradition to eat 12 grapes at midnight. Make as many wishes as you’d like as you eatΒ the grapes. I was going to stop the party at midnight Saturday but…I decided to keep it going throughout this weekend! P.S. Feel free to bring some of your favorite music too! What’s a party without music?

  1. Whoo! A whole bottle! I drank mostly beer except for the champagne and one shot of Tito’s vodka. The bottles were out, but I kept it simple; plus I had to drive home.

  2. I don’t go out on New Years Eve that often. I barely stayed up until midnight. Lol. I had some Moscato though, a bottle ha ha! I had to work yesterday but only until 2. Yes it’s been fun here! πŸ™‚

  3. Last New Year’s Eve I didn’t go out at all. I was so tired from work I fell asleep and went out late. But I did get out. This looks like some party. Love reading all the comments!

  8. Happy New Year to you! So excited to be part of the blog party! πŸ™‚
I spent the new year at home with some wine and nice dinner and watched the ball drop in Times Square on TV. I really don’t have the patience to go and stand there for hours in the crowd lol πŸ˜€

  9. I’m thinking it involves a lot of traveling and writing for you πŸ˜€ I myself want to travel more and work on writing more. I know for a fact I need to get out of sales. It’s tiring and not worthwhile at all.

  10. Very exciting to say the least πŸ˜€ I hear you, Lisa. I have to say if I want to change something I don’t wait for the change of the year but start right away. If I don’t start right away it is a sign that I don’t really mean it.
I wonder hearing about your goals, Lisa ☺

  11. I don’t have any particular resolutions to be honest. Actually I barely have. I do have plans and projects I want to realize next year but no resolutions. You will definitely read about my plans throughout the year πŸ˜‰

  12. How did I come up with it? Trying to keep myself entertained. I’m pretty sure I crack myself up much more than I do others. Anyway, how would a chocolate-covered pill really work? Do you swallow it whole or suck off the chocolate before swallowing the Vicodin? In my imagination, the pill has flavonals, or whatever that stuff is called in chocolate that’s good for you. But really, the beauty of chocolate is the taste, so a chocolate pill is not my idea of fun. See ya later, dude. πŸ™‚

  13. I’ve had my share of hangovers from alcohol, but I can truthfully say that the smile hangover is more painful and lasts longer… Yes, I think you should feel guilty for causing me so much pain, just to celebrate one day of the year. And now I’m wondering what your Valentine’s Day celebrations look like… Someone get me a chocolate-covered Vicodin! πŸ˜€

  14. Wow! It is beautiful to know that wonderful things happened to on that date! My second son was born on 12/9/2002… I wondered if he perhaps wants to check this life out already on the 11th.

  15. We went there during September with my little daughter and my baby son. It was pretty hot then (1999). Since my that is the son born in the States I am very proud that we are having a photo with him in the WTC. It was almost exactly 2 years before the attacks. I have been to NYC 3 times and I like it a lot!
