Hi everyone! Do you plan on watching Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice today or this weekend? If you do, you’ll briefly see Superman fighting a factory fire in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. It’s unknown where the scene was filmed. Movie director Zack Snyder said at a news conference in Mexico City on Saturday, the scene was featured as a way to show that The Man of Steel helps people from around the world.

Henry Cavill (Superman) is no stranger to El Paso. He stayed in El Paso while the movie was being filmed in late 2014. It was filmed in different cities around New Mexico like outside of Deming, Taos and Playas. The film’s production brought in more than $13 million to New Mexico’s economy.

  1. No. The filming happened in cities that are a few hours away from me. Superman was staying in El Paso though. He took selfies with lots of people. The photos were on social media.
