Good morning everyone! I hope you’re doing well! A few weeks back, my blogging sister, Erika Kind requested this song for Women’s History Month. Women’s History Month finishes tomorrow so I wanted to get it in for her! Today I’m taking you back to 2000 with Madonna’s version of American Pie. The original version by Don Mclean made its debut in 1971. Have a great Wednesday everyone!
Thank you!👍

I like Madonna. Despite all her Fame and success I think she is still underrated. She used to include at least one or two Spanish influenced songs on her albums. those are my favorites. I especially like “You’ll See” which is an Anthem to Human strength.
Thank you! I am really enjoying your blog! 👍👍

I hadn’t come across this song before (can you believe that?) But I really liked this one. 🙂

Oh, Lisa! I already forgot about it! Thank you so much for posting that one. When we moved back from the States to Europe this was the favorite song of my 4-year-old daughter and the first CD she bought!
A little bittersweet because it reminds me of leaving a wonderful place but that again makes the memory even more beautiful.
