Sunday Song 4-3-16

Good morning Everyone! I hope you’re having a relaxing Sunday like myself. Today I’m taking you back to 2000 and 2002 with these two songs. They always make me relax and take it easy. I think the songs would be nice to share at a wedding or funeral. Enya is an Irish singer-songwriter and producer from County Donegal, Ireland. She began her music career in 1980 when she joined her family’s Celtic band, Clannad. She began her solo music career in 1982. Her music has been featured on The Frog Prince in 1985 and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring in 2002. Enya has never been on tour. However, she’s sold around 75 million albums worldwide. She sings in 10 different languages. Enya has won and been nominated for several music awards. So far she’s won four Grammy Awards and several other International music awards. Have a great Sunday, everyone!

  1. I love Only Time !! In fact, I distinctly remember the first time I heard it. It was playing in a restaurant and I simply had to know the name of the singer and I went and asked the reception for it 😀 My friends were laughing at me , but that was the time when there was no soundhound so this was the only way I could know. Enya’s songs are so relaxing and surreal 🙂

  2. Oh wow! They’re talking about a music festival in Downtown El Paso. I haven’t been to this one but I’ve been to other festivals downtown. I recently wrote about the largest one in that area, Neon Desert. I also used to write for What’s Up. Thanks for sharing the links!

  4. Shame on me…I’d heard both of these songs before, knew who sang them, and didn’t know the names of them! Beautiful choices for a Sunday morning. Thanks for sharing!
