Monday Song 4-11-16

Good morning everyone! I know I know it’s Monday again :/ Today I’m taking you back to the 90’s with one of my all-time favorite rappers, Tupac. Not only was Tupac a great rapper, he was also a talented artist, lyricist, poet and actor. Tupac had a book of poetry titled The Rose that Grew from Concrete. He starred in the movies Poetic Justice, Above the Rim and many others. Several of his songs and lyrics hit home with me now and growing up. Although some of Tupac’s lyrics were negative, a lot of them were also positive. If you ask me to pick my favorite song out of all of them, I can’t just pick ONE. I couldn’t even pick TWO so I’m including FIVE. I could easily pick 10 but I’m only doing five. Do you have any favorite Tupac songs? Have a great Monday, everyone! I’ll be back with some more posts for you this week. I’ll be back with more music on Friday.

P.S. Here are a few of my favorite Tupac quotes below:

“Reality is wrong. Dreams are for real.”

“For every dark night, there’s a brighter day.”

“My mama used to always tell me, if you can’t find somethin’ to live for, you best find somethin’ to die for.”

“During your life, never stop dreaming. No one can take away your dreams.” And now for the music…
