Hi everyone! I hope you’re doing well! I came up with a new idea for my Saturday music posts. Going forward, I’m going to feature singers and bands from El Paso’s music scene. I’m also working on getting more interviews! Today I’m going with Radio La Chusma. If you’re into Sublime and/or Santana, you might appreciate their sound. Radio La Chusma usually tours in southwest U.S. cities like Albuquerque, Phoenix and Austin. They also play at several local festivals like Downtown El Paso’s Alfresco Fridays and The Stateline Restaurant’s summer concert series. They played at the first Neon Desert Music Festival in 2011. Neon Desert is next week! I’m still not sure whether I was approved to cover the event or not. I’ll find out this coming week.
