Erika’s #RomanticTuesday Challenge 7-5-16

Hi everyone! I hope your Tuesday is going well! For today’s Romantic Tuesday challenge I’m including a couple of songs from Journey and Carlos Santana (two for Tuesday?). I’m still daydreaming about my San Francisco vacation from last week! At around this time last Tuesday, I was eating delicious pasta at Fino Italian Restaurant. Some say San Francisco is one of the most romantic cities in the U.S. I agree with those who say it. It’s a beautiful city to visit with your significant other. The sunsets and cool ocean breeze are beautiful to watch and share with someone you love. It’s also a perfect city to take many walks. If I had more money, I’d move there without looking back. There seems to be a lot of jobs but unfortunately the cost of living is extremely pricey! I’d love to go back and visit one day! You know where to find me if I win the lottery or some other jackpot!

Although Santana wrote “Europa” for a friend, I’ve been to weddings and quinceañeras (a 15th birthday celebration that’s similar to a Sweet 16 party) where the song’s played during the couple’s first dance. The song made its debut in 1976. Most of Journey’s songs are romantic ballads. I decided to go with their 1996 ballad, “When You Love a Woman.” In case you want to follow along with the lyrics, they’re included in this video. Here’s a few other photos I took in San Francisco. Enjoy what’s left of Tuesday, everybody! I’m working on a couple of projects so I’ll be back Friday with more music and posts.

I took this photo when me and my boyfriend were having pizza outside of a Downtown San Francisco cafe. We took a cable car to Fisherman’s Wharf a couple of days later.
