Hi everyone! I hope you’re doing well! Since today’s Saturday…that means I feature local music here. If you’ve been following me for awhile, you might remember my interview with Zyme One last October. If not, you can check it out here. Today I’m featuring the song, “Lighthouse” from his latest album, “Memories of Melancholy Cholas.” Warning: the song is NSFW (not suitable for work). For some reason or other, listening to his new album sort of reminded me of Sublime back in high school.
Zyme One continues staying busy, especially in the local music scene. Today he’s playing at El Paso’s first annual Lights out Music Festival. He and Metafisix make up the local hip-hop group, Fuya Radio. Fuya Radio has played at several local and worldwide shows. Have a great rest of the day and weekend, everyone! I’ll be back tomorrow with more music and posts.
Thanks for listening to it! 😊

It’s a new venue but I’ve featured and seen some of the bands.

He has potential. I like the beat. His rap is a little forced but he isn’t bad.
