Hi everyone! I hope your Saturday is going well! Today’s featured music is by the unique six-piece band, Chuco Soul Project. According to the band’s Reverbnation page, they classify their music into different music genres. Those genres include: jazz, funk, hip-hop, reggae and soul. When I first heard their music a few months ago, I was intrigued. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a band that also includes a flute and violin player. Chuco Soul Project has a busy month ahead of them. They’ll be playing at various shows around El Paso. Today I’m including their song, “Gratitude.” The video I include shows them performing live in Austin. What do you think of their sound and style? Have a great Saturday, everyone! I’ll be back later with a Saturday Evening Interview.

Oh well. Make your you have such “fast passes”. They are awesome. But both Disneyland and Universal Studios are crazily expensive.

Hopefully! 🙂 I really want to go to Universal Studios for the new Harry Potter World and to Disneyland! I think I want to go more than my son! He wants to go to Legoland. I don’t know if I’ll have enough days off from work.

Couldn’t really hear it. The video skipped throughout. But, what I heard was interesting…and different. 🙂

Ha ha! I think you’re due for another trip to Cali, Erika! I wish I could go back myself! I’m hoping I can go in October. My son will be out of school. I want to take him to Disneyland, Universal Studios, etc.

To me, it sounds like typical “vacation” music. Reminds me of strolling through Third Street in Santa Monica! So, a great choice for a Saturday! Happy weekend, Lisa!

Interesting. Reminds me a little of Calypso music. But damn, that’s a really long song. 🙂

Thanks for your comment, Alexis! You make a valid point. I think I like the idea of them venturing out the most.

As a Jamaican, I must say, a flute sounds pretty weird with reggae instrumentals… interesting, but not my cup of tea.
