Hi everyone! I hope your weekend was great! Mine was OK, even though I’m kind of under the weather again. Today I took my son the ninth annual Chalk the Block arts festival in downtown El Paso. We also had the opportunity to visit the El Paso Museum of Art and the El Paso Museum of History for FREE! Here’s some shots I took of the art created with chalk, along with some of the exhibits at the museums.
A few shots of the Hermosos Huesos (Beautiful Bones) exhibit by Wayne Hilton at the El Paso Museum of Art (Perfect for Halloween and Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)!
Here’s some sidewalk chalk art and a dragon.

My pleasure

Thanks Gwin! We had fun and you can’t beat a FREE event! Lol. He behaves pretty well most of the time. My stomach is so so today.

Lisa, I have to commend you for always spending quality time with your son. Those times will mean a lot to both of you as time passes on.
I loved the ‘beautiful bones’ exhibit–all those vibrant colors juxtaposed against the stark white skeletons–Amazing!
Very interesting sidewalk art! I was partial to the butterfly 🙂
Great post Lisa! Hope you are feeling better 🙂

We passed through El Paso last March and loved the city and the food. Green chili everything! Wish we could have spent more time there.
