Hi everyone! I hope your day was better than mine 😉 I’ll tell you about that some other time. It’s just been a long and tiring day. Anyway…Today’s Romantic Tuesday song took years to grow on me but it finally did. I’m taking you back to 1996 with Celine Dion’s “Because You Loved Me.” I recently fell in love with the beautiful lyrics. Not only can this song be romantic but I think it can also show love towards a child or parent. The song is about loving someone unconditionally, even when they are at their worst in life. The song was played in the movie, “Up Close and Personal” with Robert Redford and Michelle Pfeiffer in 1996. According to Wikipedia,”Because You Loved Me” was a worldwide hit and reached number one in the U.S., Canada and Australia. The song also won several music awards. One music critic from Billboard described the song as “a grand romance, larger than life production and a climax that is best described as the musical equivalent to 4th of July fireworks.” Here are the lyrics to the song below:
