Hi everyone! I want to say Happy Veterans Day to my grandfather, boyfriend, fellow bloggers, family and friends. Thank you for your service! My grandfather served in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne during the Korean Conflict. This is what he’s most proud of in life. My boyfriend served in the U.S. Navy from 1996-2000. My son’s school held a Veterans Day parade on Thursday morning. Even though it was cloudy and chilly, me and my grandmother attended. Local school bands, cheerleaders, ROTC cadets, veterans and active duty soldiers participated. Here’s a few photos I took below:

It is great that those soldiers are not forgotten and that the kids are made aware of them. I also hope that the message is that war is not the solution!
