In my last post I asked you all what your favorite type of cookie was- and there was a reason for this!! I did my Christmas baking this weekend and used all your suggestions to try something different from my usuals.
Hence, at this Mingle & Jingle, I have your favorite treats (which quickly became my favorite too!). Thank you for allowing me to expand my horizons this Christmas baking season; I loved the different traditions that I learned about and incorporated. Plus everything was absolutely delicious!!!!

Hi Sue! I got two Christmas trees. Lol. My real one is like a Charlie Brown type and the other one is fake. Me and my son put them up yesterday and this morning. Hope all is well for you! 🙂

Oh yes us too…we don’t do drama and stay to our self for most part but every once in awhile even with us staying at home not seeing anyone you know the so called friends want to drop our name into something..we just laugh it off…so drama free for sure is the best …

well you busy gurl…now is your time to chill….that is what I am doing too…I was pretty busy today getting bills paid and cards out …just waiting on a late,late dinner since no one was hungry at the normal time for dinner lol…it happens a lot here …lol…better half made homemade chili and smells so good…and still cool here so perfect time…

Hi Sue! Hope you’re alright! Ugh drama sucks! I try to stay away from it as much as possible. I’m finally completely better, just getting ready for Christmas still! Lol. I need one or two more gifts still. I want to buy a real tree but maybe tomorrow. I was busy almost all day! I finally get to chill!

gurl the ups and downs we all know are normal don’t we lol…I just wanted to make sure that you were happy didn’t mean to imply other wise …We just had family members leave Florida again they didn’t like it …its more of them making up there mind on where they are happy and they can’t since they are not happy with each other…its one of my dads brothers from Vermont and they just got married and oh it is a mess lol..long story..but them together she is taking him for a ride and the whole family sees it but him…anyways…
That would be nice to have a choice of what home to stay in and a different state …I have an aunt that lives in Florida (ment to say that above) and they love it…
I agree that would be hard leaving your family but maybe if you do move they can come and visit often for vacations…it is a hard decision for sure…seems life and decisions are getting harder to make..for us anyways lol…
Yeah our town is pretty relaxing but gurl does it have its drama lol..we stay out of it and some how our names are put in lmao…we stay put at home and even then our name sometimes gets brought up …gotta love lil towns…lol…
OH SO HAPPY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR COLD AND YOU GETTING BETTER…power of prayers…

Hi Sue! 🙂 Thankfully, he’s out for Christmas break! We’ve been spending time together today and yesterday. We’ve had our ups and downs in almost 4 years but we work through it. It’s hard sometimes but I’m happy with him. He says he wants to stay here but get another home in Florida. I’m down with that. Hell at this point I wouldn’t mind leaving but I have to consider my son and family. Your town sounds sort of relaxing. My cold finally went away! I’m just a little bit stuffy but I feel much better! where does he want to move to???…Campbell, Texas the town I live in hahahaha…no, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone jk I do love this lil country town with nothing but a post office and a stop sign lol..one wish would be if I had all the money in the world is that I would get our house done and move it way out into the country of Campbell…but this dream is just that a dream…
Yes!!!…one a day at a time…and even at that life is so fucking hard…hell I have even tried second by second and minute by minute and still no luck lol…I feel the same…I am blessed as you are to have the things we do…
it may not appear to others as much(talking about us) but even the basics are ok with us…we may not be liking having hamburger again for dinner but thankful and blessed to have it…for me it’s always the lil things that I enjoy…
So how you been feeling gurl??? imma tellin ya vicks rub on your feet and white socks and go to bed…..now I know I have told you that but ex family swear by it and well I have never tried it so I want you to that way I know that they were not trying to kill me …lmao….

Hi Sue! We went to a steakhouse last night. It was alright but they didn’t cook my food right! I still ate it because I didn’t want to send it back. Lol. We like all kinds of food! It’s really hard that he’s in school. I’m trying my best to be very patient and supportive though. We’ve had so many ups and downs in our relationship so Idk hopefully it works. He tells me he wants to move to another state after he finishes so idk I guess we’ll see. I just take life one day at a time. Nothing is guaranteed. I’m just thankful for everything I have.

Kool ..I have never had a Dell…just a HP…I just want a simple one that I mainly use for here and musik…where I can sit anywhere and not have to be at my desk stuck in this room lol..
Aww sista it’s ok ..but thank you…Ok so you know what goes on then lol..not kool or fun..same here since mom died and I was here taking care of her then I went back home then dad had his bad accident we have been here and dad told them the truth and they never called or came over again and we are much happier with them out of our life…don’t need negative and mean people in our life..life is hard enough…yes..I/we don’t care anymore…
Yes!!!…very long all one length…omg I used to too have it in a bob…just like you said so much easy…well when our guys start fixing our hair than they can tell us how long or short to have it hahaaha…oh the good ol days of 25.00 for a cut…heck when my hair was not near as long maybe just past my shoulders it was 100.00 so I can’t imagine the price now…we have a friend that does it but she still charges me full price and when she did my bf no charge lol..but now for the last 6-7 years I cut dads and bf they love it and say its better than the shop and cheaper lol..in fact I need to chop the heads off this weekend if I get to it after the tree or before lol…
I agree that is enough for today lol…pace urself…lol…reminds me I need to wipe down the bathroom…
OH how nice going out on a date…what kind of food do you guys like???…we eat at home for the most part..if you like Mexican food then you have a whole bunch of choices but other than that…ihop…I like Mexican food heck I like any food pretty much lol…so eat till you hurt gurl lol…
Oh that is kool that he is going to nursing school..you must be proud of him lots of hard work…but good field ..how much longer does he have to go??? damn that is a lot of test …well tell him I said thank you for taking care of our sick ..and keep the good work up…heck after I eat I want to sleep lol…
My guys are still outside in the dark and cold messing with building a area for this other blue healer dog that we took in until it finds a forever home…so he will be warmer this winter …dad said its only 40 outside and came in to get another jacket he said when we get done coffee sure sounds good I told him that I have been making hot coco and have plenty for them when they come in for the night..if I don’t drink it all lol..I would just make them more if needed…
I am sure that the two of you will have a nice dinner …save some for me and oh yes a drink or two please…heehheh

It’s a Dell. I really like it! Lol he told me to take it that day! Lol. Oh I’m so sorry about your family situation. I have some not so nice family too but I don’t care anymore. They no longer exist to me. Wow, your hair is really long! I have mine like a bob. I love it because it’s easy! I just wash It, dry and that’s it! Lol. It takes like 10 minutes, sometimes even 5! My boyfriend asks for me to grow it but hell no! Lol. I had it down to my shoulders when I met him almost 4 years ago. I had bangs and layers. It was a pain! My haircut is $25. Yea I pretty much finished cleaning. I cleaned my room, the living room and bathroom. Lol. I need to finish with the kitchen and a couple of other things. That’s enough for today. We’re going out to eat later. My bf goes to nursing school so I don’t see him everyday. He had 4 exams so he had to study a lot. He has lots of homework too so when we get back he’ll start doing it.

We used to play that game when we at moms side of the family that we no longer get along with and have nothing to do with them..they are to hateful and rude and mean and…..the onetime I played it was by numbers and you got to pick a gift out of the gurl pile…well they skipped me and my mom at the time said hey suzette got skipped and she should be next and they just ignored her and mom got up to pick her gift from the female pile and got a bunch of hair clips and bows things for hair but mom had really short hair so she said here suzette take this and before I could my cousin girlfriend took it from mom since you could take one gift away and then the other person gets to go again like mom got too..I do not miss that family for all the hurt and lies and how they used dad and mom…long story but they are just not nice…to put it nicely ..lol..
Yes it is hard to shop for men..but they both are easy going and I thought of things they really need instead of wanting…I hope to have the funds just for a few things each…I would love a haircut but that is way to much money….since it;s so long..passed my hips…last time I had my bf cut straight across the back and I did the bangs everyone liked it lol ..I usually cut my own hair but now being so long he would have to do it lol…even my bangs are the same length as my back of my waist…but I am not paying over 200.00 for a damn hair cut….but again I think i will have him do the back and I am thinking of bangs again….damn these decision lol…

Yes I have a laptop. My boyfriend got it on Black Friday and gave it to me. It’s my Christmas present 🙂 He got a really good deal on it. I haven’t decorated or done any shopping, only for my son. His birthday is on the 13th. My family does a gift exchange so we buy one gift for the name we got. I just need to get that gift, some other things for my son and something for my boyfriend. Yea it’s hard when there isn’t money. Socks and slippers are great! It’s so freaking hard to shop for a man! LOL. It’s always the same stuff! Enjoy the hot cocoa my friend. I will have some with you 🙂 I don’t feel so bad, I cleaned a little.

We got all our major cleaning done the day before Thanksgiving I mean deep cleaning from top of fans to baseboards …now I just have to dust again lol..maybe 2morrow since my left arm is and has been killing me…
NOPE NOT READY FOR CHRISTMAS lol…well the tree is put together if that counts but not decorated lol most of our old decorations from the beginning of time broke while the wind took them for a ride out of the box on the porch ..so I don’t know what is left and it sucks cuz they were the kool old ones…shitt happens…
we don’t do gifts since cash is always low every month but I am thinking if I have a few dollars left after getting stuff for Christmas dinner I will try to get dad and better half a few things then need like socks n slippers at the dollar store…I can hope…Well I am glad I am not the only one not ready loololol…
Oh so you have to buy gifts for birthday and Christmas …dang ..or do you have it just one gift time???…

My better half likes to make the sweets and does a amazing job I should have been taking pictures and post on my blog lol but most are gone now into my belly lol…maybe the next thing he makes I will post…but he usually makes several things at once…and some are just from the package and not homemade but other when we have the extra cash are homemade …when dad makes his famous fudge I may post that since it is homemade and so good that our one friend always gets a special box filled with it…
