Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! I realized I haven’t included any Christmas music or posts this year! I can’t believe Christmas 2016 is only 11 days away from today! I also can’t believe I’m telling you this but my Christmas tree isn’t even up yet! Santa is probably bringing me coal this year! 😀 I plan on having the Christmas tree up this weekend. I still have to buy a few more gifts! Last year I participated in a Christmas challenge. I don’t know if it’s happening again this year but as far as I know, it isn’t. I plan on bringing back some of those old posts in case you missed them. I also plan on changing some of them up. Here’s some of my favorite Christmas songs. How about you? What are some of your favorites? Please stay tuned for more Christmas posts within the next 11 days! They won’t all be Christmas-related but quite a few will be.
Taylor Swift’s “Last Christmas”- I also like George Michael’s/Wham’s version but I enjoy this one too. I like Taylor Swift’s country and pop sound in this one.
Harry Connick Jr.- I enjoy any songs from him (Christmas or non-Christmas).
Michael Buble- I’ve always enjoyed his unique and jazzy voice. I can’t say I dislike any of his Christmas songs. Here’s a few by him. 🙂
Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo!”- This one is always at the top of my list! I was fortunate enough to interview a couple of members a few years ago before they performed in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Charlie Brown’s “Christmas Dance”- I always want to get out of my seat and dance when I hear this one.
“Mamasita Donde Esta Santa Claus”- This one makes me laugh every time.
Cheech & Chong’s “Santa Claus & his Old Lady”- Another hilarious one!
Elmo & Patsy’s “Grandma got Run Over by A Reindeer”- A cheesy but funny one!
Run DMC’s “Christmas in Hollis”- Makes me ha ha ha everytime!
John Lennon’s “Happy X-mas War is Over”- This one has gotten me teary-eyed on a few occasions.
Last, but certainly not least…a few classics in Spanish by Luis Miguel
Thank you 🙂 x

We love the same music and I JUST pulled out my table top Xmas tree this week! Not sure why it took so long as it’s really small and most of the ornaments are already attached! The business of my life gets in the way!

Wow, what a list! I love the versions you shared here. Michael Bublé just has the perfect voice for Christmas songs. I could not watch the last ones… doesn’t work here. But you gave us a huge menu here anyway. John Lennon’s song is just one of the best!
