Hi everyone and Happy Romantic Tuesday! I hope your week is going well so far! I don’t have a romantic song for you today. If you’ve been following my blog for awhile, you might remember me blogging about Sex and the City. Sex and the City is one of my all-time favorite TV shows, even in 2017! I still catch the reruns on TV whenever I can. I have all of the DVDs somewhere. I wish I could find them! I enjoyed watching it most as a teenager and 20-something. I sometimes watched it with my grandmother or mom. My mom would tell me not to watch it with her but I would do it anyway. I guess she wanted to shield me from their girl talk about sex. I don’t think there’s that many quality TV shows on the air anymore. Even though Sex and the City was fictional and based on Candace Bushnell’s novel, I learned a few things from the four ladies. I learned about womanhood and relationships. I even picked up Carrie’s shoe fetish! Of course my shoes were never $400 a pair but I had several pairs of them!
I’d also daydream about making it big in New York City someday. I wish I could show you my rejection letter from the New York Times. I should’ve framed it when I had the chance! I think I lost it when I moved from New Mexico 😦 Even though it doesn’t happen that often, I think the TV show and movies were better than the novel. One of the things that fascinated me the most was Big and Carrie’s on and off again romance in the shows and movies. I was sort of infatuated with Big (Chris Noth). Lol anyway…today I’m sharing one of my favorite quotes from Sex and the City with you (See the photo above). Have a great day everyone and I’ll see you soon!

It’s ok Erika! I’m a little behind on blogs too. You’ve never seen it?? I think you might like it. The first movie is good too.

So sorry for being that late, Lisa! But here I am! Although I never watched Sex and the City this quote is very cool 😁

I like Carrie and Charlotte. I agree with you! The second movie wasn’t as good as the first one.

I LOVED ‘Sex & the City’ and have seen every episode at least twice. Also saw both movies. The second was rather weak, but still fun. I thought the show was brilliant and hilarious. I liked all four of them, but Miranda was my favorite.

I think I was more into shoes and purses in my 20s. It doesn’t matter as much in my 30’s. The show is still good in 2017. 😊

I just never got that shoe fascination, but the show was pretty ground-breaking.
