Saturday Song, etc. 3-4-17

Hi everyone! I hope your weekend is off to a great start! It’s been a busy week over here! Me and my boyfriend went to Albuquerque for a couple of days. The main reason we went was to see a doctor about my women issues. Luckily, it’s not too bad. I actually thought it would be a lot worse. I would’ve loved visiting with fellow blogger and friend Johnna from All Things Chronic while I was there. I’ve tried contacting her by e-mail and social media but she doesn’t respond. I’m worried about her and don’t know where to find her! She doesn’t have a phone and I don’t know her address because she moved. I hope she’s OK and just needed a break from blogging. The last time she blogged was on Jan. 23. She used to blog a few times a day! Has anyone heard from her?

One of the downsides of going to Albuquerque was getting a call from my grandma about my son. My son broke out with a rash in several parts of his body at school on Thursday. I think he has chickenpox because he’s had a fever. He also wanted to take a nap and didn’t want to eat. He rarely takes naps and ALWAYS wants to eat. His doctor didn’t have anymore appointments on Friday so I’m taking him later this morning. Since my son is going to be out of school after this coming week, I most likely won’t be around as much as I usually am. I’ll have posts for you but maybe not as many.

Since March is Endometriosis Awareness Month, I plan on doing a separate post about it sometime this month. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2011 so I understand what other women go through on a daily and/or monthly basis. March is also Women’s History Month so you’ll also be seeing more posts about women and their accomplishments here. I was in the mood to hear The Weeknd so I’m leaving you with his song, “Party Monster.” Have a great weekend, everyone and I’ll see you soon!

  1. I haven’t heard from Johnna either. I’ve emailed her several times and nothing. 😞
I do have her current address, if you plan to head back to Albuquerque I’m sure she wouldn’t mind me giving it to you. Let me know! I’m very worried too.

Hope your son starts to feel better soon. ❤

  3. Thanks Erika! 💖 I’m doing a more in depth post about endometriosis and my experience. I don’t think it’s something that’s really discussed. It’s discussed more these days but I think it should be discussed more. I’m taking my son to the doctor in a few minutes here.

  4. I am sorry for all that happened. Also, I don’t know that blogger you were talking about. I googled Endometriosis. You really have quite some things to deal with, Lisa! Take your time and I hope there is nothing major going on with your son!
