Hi everyone. This is a short but very hard blog post to write. I just got news last night from Johnna Stahl’s family. If you’ve been following my blog for awhile, you’ll know me and Johnna from All Things Chronic/Pain Kills were friends. I had the pleasure of meeting her in Albuquerque last July. In the last couple of months, me and other bloggers tried reaching out to Johnna to no avail. Johnna’s sister from Houston found my blog and contacted me. She emailed me to tell me Johnna passed away. At this time, I don’t know when she passed away or what happened. I will let you know any other details when they become available. A lot of emotions are going through me at this time. The blogging community has lost an amazing person. Johnna was a great friend to me and so many others here. I will never forget her or her friendship. May she rest in peace. Until we meet again…
Thank you so much for your comment. Johnna told me about you. I’m so sorry for your loss. She is watching over us.

My name is Beau and I’m Johnna’s son. Thank you for all the wonderful things you all have said. It makes me very happy to see that she had an outlet as great as her blog and supporters like y’all. I will miss her very much.

According to quantum physics she is alive and well somewhere.

I’m usually not into any of that but this experience might be an exception.

Doesn’t sound crazy. It’s great that you can sense her.

This is going to sound crazy but I think she was giving me a sign last week. We went to Albuquerque last week and the hotel room number was 420. 😉

I’m so sorry Robert. I didn’t know Johnna, but I know when you feel a hole in your heart, the person had to be special. ~mandy

I agree. I miss her so much but at least she isn’t hurting anymore.

She was good as using language to reveal her pain.

I got the sense that she was in more pain over the past year.

Yep. And we are close in age.

It’s completely understandable, Rob. It’s so hard to lose a family member or even a close friend, especially when it happens out of the blue.

Yes we were. We talked through the blog and emails almost everyday for 2 years. She even wrote to me and sent me little gifts. I was very shocked when I heard the news.

It’s nice to have some of my focus back. My Sister’s death tore me up and I had no choice but to go with it.

💖💖 I’m so happy I got to meet her in person. She was very nice and funny. She loved baking so she baked me cookies and brownies. It was as if I knew her for years. She was good to email for advice too.

She is … You know, she’s the only reason I kept blogging … and found my way back from a lot of darkness. She was the only person who kept coming back and reading my very personal posts right at the beginning. She’d ask questions and shout praises from the sidelines. All I needed was one person to hear me … and she was that person ❤ I love her for that xoxo
