Hi everyone! I can’t believe it’s already May! Happy Romantic Tuesday! I hope all is well for you! I wasn’t sure which song to pick for today. I eventually chose “Stay with Me” by Sam Smith. I heard the song on the radio Monday morning. Although “Stay with Me” is about a one night stand, I think the song can relate to other love situations. The song reminds me of unrequited love. In fact, Wikipedia says the whole album “Stay with Me” is on is about unrequited love. “The Lonely Hour” album sort of resonates with some of my past love life. I’m pretty sure some of us have been in that situation. I’ve been there in the past and it’s not fun. I laugh about it now but it wasn’t funny back then. I think I would consider having a crush on someone unrequited love, love that isn’t returned to you. Anyway going back to the song…
“Stay with Me” was released in April 2014. Sam Smith and Tom Petty helped write the song. It sort of has the same beat as Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down.” “Stay with Me” was an international success. It reached number one in the U.K. and number two in the U.S. music charts. “The Lonely Hour” won four Grammy Awards. I’m anxious to see what other songs Sam Smith comes up with in the near future. Outch, that really doesn’t sound very satisfying. I am sorry about that. But at least you tried and now you know! I am sure it was necessary you quit in order to be free for your real job! This was truly simply a “training”. I am glad that you pulled the plug before you got to frustrated! YES!!! 👍👊

Chocolate does make me happy, the job didn’t. The girl that was training me was yelling at me yesterday. She also sat me right next to her and was watching my every move so I just said forget it and didn’t go back after lunch. I can’t work well when I’m being micromanaged so I left. I didn’t feel like it was going to get any better. They weren’t paying me enough anyway. The trainer was kind of already getting on my bad side during class. I tried to ignore it but yesterday I said eh forget it. Lol. I’ll be working on some freelance work and blog posts for now.

Right!! Happy Romantic Tuesday, Erika! Guess what? I now have more time to blog! I quit my job yesterday. It just wasn’t what I expected. I’m back to looking for another one.
