Hi everyone and happy Friday! I hope your week was good! I’ve been under the weather but I’m starting to feel better. Leah from Pure Flix recently told me about their faith-based/religious movie streaming service. Pure Flix includes a variety of movies for families and children. I might check out the following movies via Pure Flix in the near future: “Where the Red Fern Grows” (this book is a classic I read in 5th grade!), “Mother Teresa Seeing the Face of Jesus” and “Simpleigh Cooked Shortcuts to Making Cooking Simple Again.” Pure Flix also has children’s movies and TV shows like “The Little Rascals”, “Babar” and “VeggieTales.” My son will probably enjoy watching “Where the Red Fern Grows” and “The Little Rascals.” We might have to make it an official movie night with popcorn and pickles soon! π If you’re interested in checking out the service, you can click here. As of right now, Pure Flix is available in the U.S. and Canada.
If you sign up today or throughout the month of July, it will help the international organization Convoy of Hope. They help deliver food, supplies and medicine to needy families worldwide. As of right now, families in 114 countries have been served. Pure Flix is donating $100,000 to the organization throughout June and July. Should you decide to get the service, proceeds will go towards Convoy of Hope. The organization has helped 80 million people worldwide. They’ve also served 220 million meals. More info. about Convoy of Hope can be seen here. What’s usually a must have for you and your family’s movie night? Have a great weekend, everyone! I’ll see you soon!
Since I work a lot more … YES π

Thank you, Lisa. I am very proud of him. That way he received his general qualification for university entrance. From September on he goes to university. It is my older son (18).

That’s awesome, Erika! Congrats to you and him! Does he have to finish more school or what happens? Was it your younger or older son?

I have Netflix too! Lol. It’s starting to get better. You’re right, Pure Flix is a positive option for kids and families. I also like that they’re helping this international charity.

we have the nasty netflix but it’s fine, I’m not very easily offended. but it’s nice to know that for more sensitive viewers there is a positive option. we protected our children a long time I think, and now let them make informed choices as they near adulthood.
