Hi everyone. I hope you’re doing well. I’ve been keeping up with the Hurricane Harvey coverage since last week. It’s really upsetting and heartbreaking to watch. It makes it even worse to watch when you know friends and family are going through it.
I would like to ask you for a favor because I can’t do this alone. I would like to raise money for my sister, brother-in-law, two friends and my sister’s church in Houston. My sister Victoria and brother-in-law Miguel are always helping others. They are currently helping others in Houston. Although their house is fine right now, they might have damages later. My sister and brother-in-law are currently volunteering at a nearby shelter as I’m writing this. I would like to raise money for them and their church parishioners at St. John Vianney.
I would also like to help two friends of mine who now live in Houston. My high school friend, Erika Lane and her family lost everything this past Sunday. Luckily they were rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard in time. They were taken to a high school/shelter (Dobie High School) in Pearland, Texas. I also want to help my former manager Stephanie McDowell. She left El Paso in June to find work in Houston. She has yet to find a job. Her husband is working but times are sort of hard for them because they have three kids. Please help me help them! ALL of the funds will be given to them, I will not keep a penny of it. If you can’t help financially, I would really appreciate it if you can spread the word on WordPress and/or social media. Thank you so much for reading this. Any amount, even $1 will help. Donations can be made here.

Thank you!

Thank you! ❤ I’m so proud of my sister and brother-in-law. Despite everything, they’re still out there helping.

It is wonderful what you are doing here and I am sorry that so many of your loved ones are involved. I hope that all are helped and that they soon can have their lives back or start it anew!💖

I tried to donate but it doesn’t work out in the end. I think it has to do with the fact that my country doesn’t show up as a choice. I tried Switzerland but that doesn’t match the address of my credit card. I am so sorry!!
