Hi everyone! I hope you’ve been well! I’m sorry I’ve been MIA for a bit! I’ve been working and freelancing lately. If I’m not blogging, you know what I’m up to. I can’t believe it’s already December and we’re almost into 2019! Seriously, where does the time go? Today is also the start of Advent, the new year in the Christian church and 23 days until Christmas. The colors purple and pink signify good things like hope, joy and royalty in the Catholic Church. By the way, I haven’t started shopping yet! 😀 I’m grateful I’m enjoying my new job! I feel like it allows me to help others and give back to my community. There’s no better feeling than that!
On a sadder note, a friend that grew up with me passed away unexpectedly at just 31 years old on Nov. 23. I’m glad I got to see him one last time before. I got to see him on Thanksgiving night for a few minutes. He passed away the very next day in his sleep. He was my neighbor and friend growing up. We had a lot of fun riding bikes, playing video games and just hanging out in the neighborhood. R.I.P. Clint! You will never be forgotten by me and your loved ones you left behind. One lesson his death taught me was… to always cherish important people in your life. Take a few minutes of your day to see how they’re doing by calling or texting them. I guess contacting someone via social media is also acceptable in this day and age. Go and visit them if it’s possible. The loved ones in our lives aren’t going to be around forever. Someone we know and are very close to can unfortunately pass away at any given second of the day. Living another day is never guaranteed. Getting to live another day is a present in itself. It’s always good to keep creating memories with the people you love. How have you been? What’s new in your life? Are you ready for Christmas? Let me know in the comments! Take care everyone!

Thank you Dorinda. I think it just barely hit me last night when I was blogging. I really like my new job. I’m usually a last minute shopper so we’ll see. Online shopping sounds good. 😀

Lisa, I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend. 31 is much too young ☹️ On a happier note, congrats on the job! And I haven’t finished shopping either! 🎅🏼
