Hi everyone! I hope your Christmas was great! I just got home from work so I’m pretty tired. I just wanted to say hi and Merry Christmas before going to bed. I didn’t know what to expect at work today but luckily everything went smoothly. This is the second time I’ve ever had to work on Christmas Day. I also enjoyed spending the day with family and taking my son to mass.
This morning I was reminiscing about past Christmases. It’s funny but I don’t remember all of the gifts I’ve received over the years. There’s a couple that come to mind but not that many. I think I remember the memories more than anything. One of the many Christmas songs my parents used to play was the one I’m sharing with you tonight. It was always played before opening gifts. I also remember them reading “T’was the Night Before Christmas” and “The Gift of the Magi” on Christmas Eve. It also wouldn’t be Christmas without making tamales a few days before. I got together with my family on Saturday to make some. I’ve written about our tradition in the past. In case you missed it, you can check it out here. Do you and your family have any special traditions that are a must during Christmas? Feel free to leave it in the comments. Take care everyone and I’ll see you soon!
