Happy Valentine’s Day, Saving $

Hi everyone! I hope you’re having a nice Valentine’s Day or Thursday if it means nothing to you. I have a day off from work so I wanted to do a post. I’ll post more when there’s time. Over the past few months, I’ve gotten into saving money by using coupons from the newspaper and apps. I don’t know if it’s because I’m older or what! I’ve become addicted to saving money and getting free stuff lately. I don’t want to pay full price for anything anymore (if I don’t have to). I’ve used coupons before but not as much as I do now! I’m not going to lie, it takes time to do it. The time is well worth it once you see all of the savings.

Using coupons and apps to save money is awesome! It’s stuff I’m going to buy anyway so why not get it for a lower price? I’ve been able to save money on buying groceries, makeup, laundry items and more. My favorite apps so far are Target, Albertson’s and lately Ibotta. The Ibotta app gives you money back to buy certain items, sort of like a rebate (if you will). A dollar here and there eventually adds up. Once you hit $20-25 or more, the money goes into your bank account or towards a gift card of your choice. How cool is that? Ibotta also allows you to try new products at discounted rates. Yes, I got most, if not all of my Valentine candy this year at a good price! I didn’t have to wait for Feb. 15 to roll around! I’ll be including more money saving ideas (and more) in future posts. How are you spending your Valentine’s Day? Are there any couponers out there? Let me know in the comments. Take care everyone and I’ll see you soon!

  1. Hi Mack! You will love the app! The money adds up on it. It’s usually stuff you’d buy anyway so why not get money back? Here’s my code in case you haven’t downloaded it. wsoxexu Valentine’s Day was good. I hope all is well for you. Take care!

  2. I usually use my psychic senses to tell me when to snag a bargain. Today I was obsessed with visiting Old Navy and found two lovely dresses in the clearance for $5.99 each. Then I found shoes in Nordstrom’s Rak…
